SIX ARRESTED FOR PLOT AGAINST THE LONDON STOCK EXCHANGE

The UK police arrested six activists from the Palestine Action group who were allegedly plotting to disrupt the London Stock Exchange. The police received information that the activists were planning to stop the London Stock Exchange from opening for trading by locking on to the building and causing damage.

The arrests were made in London, Liverpool, and Brighton. The individuals arrested include a 31 year old man in Liverpool, two women aged 28 and 26 in Liverpool, a 29-year-old woman in Brent, north London, a 23 year old man in Tower Hamlets, east London, and a 27year old in Brighton.

The police believe that this group was ready to carry out a disruptive and damaging stunt which could have had serious implications had it been carried out successfully. The information about the alleged plot was supplied by the Daily Express All six individuals remain in custody.
