Vin Diesel has not been charged for sex abuse under the California accountability law yet, however the Movie icon and fast and furious lead character is been accused for sexual assault by his former assistant for grabbing her inappropriately and masturbated right infront of her. The former assistant claims she was sacked by Mr. Diesel’s sister after the incident.
However, Tommy Lee and Jermaine Jackson have been accused of sexual assault by different women in separate lawsuits filed under the law. The law allows civil suits in cases of sexual assault that are now beyond the statute of limitations where one or more entities are legally responsible for damages and the entity or their agents engaged in a ‘cover up’.
The law also extends the filing deadline for such cases until the end of 2023 or 2026, depending on the date of the alleged assault. Both Lee and Jackson have denied the allegations and are seeking to dismiss the lawsuits .
