Aunti Muni was a popular waakye seller who operated a roadside joint at Labone Junction in Accra. Her waakye was widely regarded as one of the best in the country, attracting customers from all walks of life, including celebrities, politicians, and tourists.
She was known for her friendly service, generous portions, and quality ingredients. She passed away on January 3, 2024 at the age of 72 after a brief illness. Her death is mourned by many Ghanaians who expressed their condolences and appreciation for her contribution to Ghanaian cuisine and culture.
