A man was stabbed in the neck with a sharp object at a migrant processing center on Randall’s Island in New York City on Thursday afternoon. The New York Police Department confirmed the stabbing and said that law enforcement were called to the processing center at 3:17 p.m. on Thursday. When they arrived, authorities found a 24 year old man with a stab wound in his neck.
The suspect involved in the attack has being identified as Moises Coronado. Investigation is still ongoing and the real motive behind the stab hasn’t been established yet. However some reports making rounds seem to indicate that the fatal stabbing at the migrant camp in Randall’s Island was reportedly sparked by a dispute over a woman.
Moises Coronado, the suspect in the fatal stabbing at the migrant center on Randall’s Island in New York City, was arraigned on murder and gang assault charges in Manhattan Criminal Court. He was remanded without bail and is currently being held at the Eric M Taylor Centre.
