Needle roller bearings

Needle roller bearings come in cylindrical forms and their main role is to prevent friction between two moving surfaces with low-speed rates.

These types of bearings come with a wide range of designs but one unique feature about all of them is that, they all have an inner and outer race. Thus, a cage that contains the needle roller and the actual needle roller.

For needle rollers to be effective, the hardness, accuracy and finish of the shaft needs to have exactly the same qualities as the bearing races.

Due to their nature, they require enough greasing in order for them to function properly and according to their required speed. Common applications of needle roller bearings are: gear boxes, robotics, air craft control, farm equipment and construction equipment.
