GHANA PARLIAMENT TO DECIDE ON THE REMOVAL OF KEN. OFORI ATTA

Following the economic predicament in Ghana in recent times, the members of parliament will determine the fate of the Finance minister, Mr. Ken Ofori Atta as to whether he will be voted out of office or reinstated.

This comes after the minority leaders in parliament filed a motion for his removal from office due to financial mismanagement of the economy on October 25, 2022

However, the speaker had also set up a 8-member ad-hoc committee to look into the issue and submit a report on that and has been presented on November 25, 2022.

Members of the adhoc committee were the New Patriotic Party (NPP) MP for Adansi Asokwa constituency, K. T. Hammond, and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) MP for Bolgatanga East, Dr. Dominic Ayine.
