Dr Opoku Onyinah: “…there’s an opposition so the opposition will continue.”

Dr Opoku Onyinah, the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees for the National Cathedral during the three-day bible reading marathon at the National Cathedral site on Wednesday morning explained that when it comes to doing the work of God, it is normal to have others to oppose when decisions are being taken.

“if you go through the Bible, you see that once God wants to do something, there’s an opposition so the opposition will continue.”

“But, thank God that in the midst of opposition, God also raised those who are able to support, so, rather focus on those people who are supporting and encourage them to do that. We wish that the opposition had understood the concept. Sometimes if it’s possible for you to cut off your head and give it to somebody, you will do that and the person will never support you,” he added.

Dr Opoku Onyinah has asked all concerned stakeholders and individuals who see the good of this project to contribute towards it.

“So we are rather encouraging those people who see the essence and importance of the cathedral to continue to support and bring others on board,” he said.
