2024 COMES WITH A NEW FUEL PRICE

The National Petroleum Authority (NPA) announced a reduction in fuel prices across the country. The price of petrol was reduced by 8 pesewas per liter, while diesel saw a reduction of 4 pesewas per liter.

This reduction in fuel prices was attributed to the decrease in the average price of crude oil on the international market. The article also mentioned that the reduction in fuel prices was welcomed by transport operators and the general public.

It was seen as a relief for consumers who have been grappling with high fuel prices in recent times. The NPA assured the public that it would continue to monitor the global oil market and adjust to fuel prices accordingly.

The authority also urged fuel station operators to pass on the reduction in prices to consumers. So far it looks like Star Oil is the fuel station that has taken the lead in doing that. This is actually the second consecutive reduction in fuel prices and the authorities are attributing it to the stability of the cedi.
