A GHANAIAN PASSPORT HOLDER CAN TRAVEL TO THESE COUNTRIES VISA FREE

As of December 2023, a Ghanaian passport holder can travel to a list of 46 countries and territories without a visa been issued by their embassies. This is either there is a bilateral or multilateral agreement with Ghana that facilitate visa-free travel, such as the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS)], which includes 15 countries in the region.

Not only this but there could be a visa waiver policy for all or certain categories of visitors, such as tourists, business travellers, or transit passengers, based on their own immigration and security considerations. For example, Singapore allows visa-free entry for up to 30 days for Ghanaian passport holders who are visiting for tourism or business purposes.

Some countries also have a visa-on-arrival or e-visa system that allows Ghanaian passport holders to obtain a visa upon arrival at the port of entry or online before traveling. For example, Cambodia offers a visa-on-arrival or e-visa option for Ghanaian passport holders who wish to stay for up to 30 days.
