OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT DENIES ANY POLITICAL MOTIVATION BEHIND ARMY HIERARCHY CHANGES

The office Presidency have denied the claims that he is orchestrating politically motivated changes in the leadership of the Ghana Armed Forces ahead of the 2024 elections. The office of the President said that any change in the military leadership would be done in accordance with the Constitution and well-established conventions, devoid of any political considerations.

The President also assured Ghanaians that the 2024 general election would be conducted in a free, fair, and transparent manner, devoid of electoral violence. The office of the President later urged the public to disregard the unfounded speculations and publications aimed at triggering agitations within the rank and file of the Armed Forces.
