A MUST WIN FOR GHANA SAYS CHRIS HUGHTON

Chris Hughton, the head coach of Ghana’s national football team, has said that his players are aware of what to do to ensure they get the desired result in their final group game at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON). Ghana face Mozambique on Monday evening looking to secure their first win in the tournament and advance to the round of 16.

Hughton acknowledged that the match against Mozambique will be a tough one, but emphasized that his team knows what it takes to get a positive result. He also praised Mohammed Kudus, who scored a brace in Ghana’s 2-2 draw with Egypt last time out, and expressed optimism that the West Ham forward will continue his good form.

He said that Kudus is a very talented player who can make a difference in any game. Hughton’s team will need to be at their best to overcome the challenge posed by Mozambique, who are also seeking to advance from the group. Mozambique’s manager Chiquinho Conde said that his side will approach the game as if it were a final and try to exploit Ghana’s weaknesses.
