AFRICAN NATIONS SEE ECONOMIC GROWTH IN 2024

According to the UN’s World Economic Situation and Prospects 2024 report, six of the top-10 performing economies in the world are forecast to come from Sub-Saharan Africa in 2024.

These include Senegal, Libya, Rwanda, Mauritania, Côte d’Ivoire, and Democratic Republic of the Congo. They are expected to grow by an average of 6.8%, driven by factors such as economic diversification, foreign investment, and reforms.

Africa’s growth prospects are brightening despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, debt, and climate change.
