The Tertiary Education Students Confederacy of the New Patriotic Party (TESCON) at African University College of Communication held an inaugural and handing over ceremony on 5 th May,2021 at Circle Dubai (formerly Obra Spot) at Accra to swear in their newly elected executives for the new academic year.
The ceremony brought together registered members of TESCON from AUCC, students from other tertiary institutions and some other dignitaries from various Private and Public institutions in Ghana.
Some dignitaries present were Deputy National Communications Officer for the New Patriotic Party – Mr. Yaw Preko, Mr. Salam Mustapha – Operations at the Vice Presidency, Mr. Frank Adjei Twum – Communications Director, Vice Presidency, Miss Perpetual Lomokie – Deputy National Youth Organizer NPP and Madam Felicia Edem Attipoe – Tema West Women Organizer NPP.
Mr. Samuel Agyakwa Okodie as well as a number of youths were elected by the student body to lead the TESCON group on AUCC campus for the next term which saw him being part of the successful candidates as he would be working in the position of the general secretary for the youth wing.

The general secretary, Mr. Samuel Agyakwa Okodie during an interview with LIVING AVENUE GH said,
“In spite of the challenges that accompanies my new office, I deem it very honored by the confidence reposed in me. I assure all AUCC TESCON members that, I will work 24/7 around the clock to ensure most of their pleads, concerns, challenges and grievances if not all are well addressed and or communicated to the appropriate quarters. My focus is to solidify grounds, broaden and strengthen the scope of TESCON on AUCC Campus.”
