FOCUS ON FEMALE NATIONAL TEAMS SAYS NAA ASHORKOR

Media personality and co-host of TV3’s New Day in Ghana, Naa Ashorkor recently expressed her opinion on Twitter that the female national teams of Ghana deserve more attention and support from the football authorities and the public, especially after the disappointing performance of the Black Stars at the 2024 AFCON tournament.

She highlighted the achievements of the Black Princesses and the Black Queens, who have qualified for the U20 Women’s World Cup and won most of their games last year, respectively. She urged the stakeholders to give them the funding and the respect they need.
Naa Ashorkor also received some positive and negative reactions from other Twitter users who shared their views on her post.
