MONEY FOR GRADES IN THE WASSCE EXAMINATIONS

According to Mr. Kofi Asare, the executive director of EduWatch Africa, there are educational institutions in Ghana that engage in the sale of WAEC (West African Examinations Council) grades to students.

He claims that the Parliament of Ghana, Ministry of Education, Ghana Education Services, and the West African Examinations Council are aware of the existence of these schools in the Bono, Ahafo, Greater Accra, Central, and Ashanti region.

These schools allegedly operate by selling good WAEC results to students. He added EduWatch has a tall list of these schools and once you make payments your grades A are assured.

He’s urging the Ghanaian populace and these aforementioned reputable institutions to tackle this examination malpractices menace at once to bring sanity to our educational system rather than politicizing it which will be of dire consequences to our educational system.
