NKWANTA SOUTH RESIDENTS TO BOYCOTT 2024 GENERAL ELECTION

Nkwata South is a municipality in the Oti Region of Ghana. Some of its residents have expressed their dissatisfaction with the lack of development in their area, such as poor road networks, electricity supply, and potable water.

They have staged a demonstration and threatened to boycott the 2024 general elections if their demands are not met by the government.

They claim that they have been neglected by both the previous and current administrations, despite participating in every election. The residents were drawn from 25 farming communities includ­ing Alokpatsa, Kechiebi-Krachi, Akura B-Zongo, and Kpanku Dayen.
