PROJECTED INFLATION RATE IN GHANA FOR 2024

Inflation in Ghana has been fluctuating over the years. In 2021, the inflation rate was about 9.98%1. It increased significantly to 31.26% in 2022.

The inflation rate for 2023 was projected to average 37.6%3. However, for the fiscal year 2024, different sources have different projections.

According to Fitch Solutions, it is projected to average 16%, while the African Development Bank (AfDB) maintains that it is expected to drop to about 20.4%.
