PUBLIC TRANSPORT,BEAR BARS OPEN, CINEMAS AND NIGHT CLUBS STILL CLOSED

The President, Nana Akufo Addo, has lifted restrictions on the capacity of passengers in buses, airplanes, Taxes and other public transport.

This was communicated in his 14th address to the nation on measures taken by far against COVID-19.

Prior to this announcement, public transport was tasked to observe social distancing protocols, which ensured bused reduced the number of passengers by one per seat.

This new directive shall see the resumption of full operation by public transport in the coming days.

Also, Bear bars and restaurants can now resume full operation. Tourist sites and night clubs, however, remain closed.
