A 53-year-old gardener named Adotey Kpakpo Moffart, who sexually abused his daughter for three years at Teiman, near Madina, Accra, has been sentenced to 24-years imprisonment by an Adentan Circuit Court.
The abuse started when the girl was 12 years old and continued until she was 15. Moffart pleaded guilty to a charge of incest. The court heard that anytime the victim turned down his sexual demands, he would become aggressive and attack the girl(his daughter).
He also refuses to give her money for her upkeep.
