GALANT BLACK STARS ARRIVE IN COTE D’IVOIRE BATTLE READY

The Black Stars of Ghana arrived in Cote D’Ivoire on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, and held their first training session just hours after their arrival.

The team made a stunning entrance at the airport, with the players and the technical staff draped in rich Kente cloth. The Kente, which is a traditional Ghanaian fabric, symbolizes royalty, prestige, and cultural heritage.

The Black Stars are in Cote d’Ivoire for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), which is set to commence from January 13 to February 11, 2024. They are drawn in Group B along with Cape Verde, Egypt, and Mozambique.

The team’s first match is against Cape Verde on Sunday, January 14, 2024. Kick off is at 8PM.
