The Ghana government will be absorbing about 8.5 million on electricity bills in the country. This comes after the President earlier announced a subsidize in the cost of electricity bills for Ghanaians since most people are been hit by economic hardships during this coronavirus period.

About 85 to 86 percent of Ghanaians would enjoy this access which includes industrial companies too. But this benefit would affect customers differently considering their consumption levels.

So far 50719 tests have been done in lockdown areas in the country. 641 cases have been confirmed and this includes 8 deaths and 83 recovery cases
