The next generation of coders in Dubai is being developed by various initiatives and programs launched by the UAE government and its partners. The UAE National Program for Coders, which aims to attract and train 100,000 coders in the UAE, as well as establishing 1,000 digital startups by 2026.

The Coders HQ, a community hub for coders that provides them with opportunities to enhance their skills, network with other coders, and find suitable jobs. The first Coders HQ was inaugurated in the Emirates Towers in Dubai, and five more will be opened across the UAE.
The UAE Codes, an annual event that encourages people to write a single line of code and learn about coding. In 2022, the event attracted around 88,000 participants. These initiatives and programs aim to consolidate the UAE’s position as a global hub for coders and a leader in the digital economy. They also aim to foster a culture of innovation and creativity among the young generation of coders, who can design solutions to address local and global challenges.
